Skill-UP Survey – The transition from study to work in the aviation sector

As part of its research, skill-UP has developed a survey to identify the factors that facilitate or obstruct the transition from education and training to the workplace, and to understand the major changes in the labour market and how this will affect skills competences and knowledge needed in future jobs in aviation. The gaps identified trough this survey will be used to propose new training courses and solutions. We have received more than 160 responses so far. The respondents were mainly ATCOs, commercial pilots, RPAS operators, airport operators, training providers and representatives from airlines and Air Navigation Service Providers. The results of the survey will be available in the following months.
