In the framework of the international research and development activities, future scenarios concept is meant to sketch plausible futures, showing the implications of several external drivers. For the purposes of the skill-UP project, the scenarios technique helped identifying future aviation operational environments and select the most promising ones among them, in order to envisage required skills and competences and build new training pathways, in compliance with the expected changes.
