The Skill-UP project’s Final Conference was held on March 16th, 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal. This event was co-organized by QSR and INOVA+ and took place at ISEC Lisboa.
This was a public dissemination event when major project outcomes were shared and feedback from aviation stakeholders was gathered. The event was attended by about 60 participants (both online and in person).
The event began with a welcome session by the keynote speakers Eurico de Brito (ISEC) and José Rosa Dias (AED) and was followed by a presentation of the Skill-UP Project and main outcomes by the coordinators, Deep Blue. Luis Santos (ISEC), the keynote speaker, discussed Future Skills in the Aerospace Academy Approach.
There were also two roundtable discussions throughout the event. The first session focused on the Future Skills Needed in the Air Sector, with speakers from the University of Malta, Eurocontrol, ENAC, and QSR. The second roundtable, “Upskilling & Reskilling in Aerospace,” had Ana Rita Pires (ABSANT), António Guerra (AERNNOVA), and Sérgio Oliveira (OMNIDEA) as speakers.
